Presentation of the ITER project in Nimes on 20th March 2008

On 20th March 2008, the Chambers of Commerce of Alès/Cévennes and Nimes, and the Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Union of Metalwork Industry and the French Construction Federation, organised a meeting about the international ITER project at the EERIE site in Nimes.

More than 35 representatives of regional companies and many institutions took part in this event. Speakers included representatives of the regional ITER support board, the CEA Cadarache and Marcoule sites and the Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Corsica region, which runs the iterentreprises.com website.

Codes and Standards Conference

In light of the current focus on nuclear power as an energy source for the future, the standards applicable in this field will need to be revised. This will be the focus of a conference hosted at Cadarache from 25th to 28th February 2008.

    1st International Conference on Negative Ions, Beams and Sources

    The 1st International Conference on Negative Ions, Beams and Sources (NBIS-2008), organized by the Association Euratom/CEA Cadarache, will be held in Aix-en-Provence (France), from the 10th until the 12th of September 2008.
    The aim of the conference is to provide a discussion forum covering all areas of negative ions sources and beams.
